Founded by David Shapiro and Art Lisker, the Boca Raton Music Society was created to enrich Boca Raton with exceptional classical music experiences. David Shapiro’s vision, passion, and commitment have shaped the Society since day one and remain essential to its mission. Along with Art Lisker, this dream has been embraced and supported by our wonderful community, which recognizes the importance of musical events and education.

Celebrating David Shapiro's
70th Birthday!
This program is hosted by conductor and pianist Rani Calderon and features works by Johannes Brahms, along with a selection of American songs by Carlisle Floyd, Lee Hoiby, Lucy Simon, and Richard Hundley.
The performance will also include appearances by Ben Shapiro, violin, and Abigail Roth, soprano.

Impressions of Paris
The program will feature some of the most famously recognizable pieces including Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune, Sarasate’s tribute to George Bizet’s beloved opera “Carmen” in Carmen Fantasy, Ravel, Faure, and many more works by the most significant French composers .
